Mr. Edwin Crawford "Ed" Millsaps, age 75 of Calhoun, died Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was born in Robbinsville, North Carolina on September 28, 1939, son of the late Fred Millsaps and Winona Deyton Millsaps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Millsaps, on August 27, 2013.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Millsaps was a Loss Prevention engineer. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He loved his family and his extended family with all his heart! He loved the mountains, fishing, hunting, and friends. He dealt with a lot of pain and heartache during the last two years, after losing his son Gary from cancer. He always was at peace because he knew Gary was with the Lord, and he would be soon also!

He is survive by his wife, Judy Hedden Millsaps, to whom he was married for 52 years; a daughter, Kelley Anderson and her husband Scott of Kingston, GA; a daughter-in-law, Susan Millsaps of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Briyana Greyling, Kendyl and Kaden Anderson, and Micayla Millsaps; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews; and beloved friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Edwin Crawford "Ed" Millsaps will be held Saturday, August 15th at 4:00 pm from Trinity Baptist Church, with Pastor Jerry Adair, Rev. Eddie Brannon, and Dr. Johnny Hunt officiating. Music will be arranged by Graig Millsaps, Carroll Millsaps, Scott Millsaps, Luke Millsaps, and Connie Millsaps.

The family will receive friends at Trinity Baptist Church on Saturday, August 15th, from 2:00 pm until the service hour.
