Edward Alan Holland

Mr. Edward Alan Holland, age 51 of Calhoun, died Friday, July 31, 2015. He was born in Gordon County on March 30, 1964; son of the late Gerald Clem Holland and Mary Elizabeth King Holland. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald King Holland.

Mr. Holland loved all things outdoors, especially camping and fishing, and was an accomplished guitarist.

He is survived by his brothers, Orvin Holland and his wife Robin of Atlanta, GA and Joseph Holland and his wife Cindy of Nashville, TN; nephew, Dustin Holland and his wife Amanda of Ellijay; niece, Morgan Holland; an uncle, John King and his wife Linda of Cabot, AR; an aunt, Ruth King Parten of Royston, GA; a sister-in-law, Donna Holland. Cousins and other relatives also survive.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Edward Alan Holland will be held Saturday, August 1st at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating.

The Holland family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM
