Connie Messer

Mrs. Constance "Connie" Weaver Messer, 88 of Calhoun, died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her home following several years of declining health. She was born in Lake Wales, FL on October 4, 1926, daughter of the late John Roy and Mary Emma Jane Roberts Weaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis D. Messer in 2002; her son, Richard A. Messer in 2000; her brother, Jack D. Weaver; and sisters, Elizabeth Evans, Addie Amos, and Lorraine Lawson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Alan Cunningham of Calhoun; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Cary Peeples of Tallahassee, FL; and grandchildren, Katie Bradley of Calhoun, Terri Goins of Rossville, and Richelle Messer and Rebecca Messer of Lake Mary, FL. Six great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Constance "Connie" Weaver Messer will be held Wednesday, July 29th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 2:00 PM.
