Obituary

Clyde Wilburn Gravitt, 92, of Calhoun, Georgia, died Monday, April 20, 2020 after several years of declining health. He was born on August 20, 1927 to the late Morris Monroe and Carrie Branch Gravitt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jo Gravitt; brother, Roy Gravitt; sister, Mamie Burke; granddaughter, McKenzie Hall.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Joe Don and Melanie Gravitt, and Tony Wade Gravitt; grandchildren, Amanda and Terry Hall, Justin Gravitt, and April and Donald Brunner; great grandchildren, Amanda, James, Sierra and Dillon Brunner, Madison Hall, and Kaleigh Hall; great great grandchild, Ryder Ford; several friends and family also survive.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons funeral home, the funeral will be by invitation only. We are live streaming the service at 2:00 PM from the Facebook page of Eddie Brannon. With Rev. Ronnie Chandler officiating, burial will follow in Scott Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers include, Donald Brunner, James Brunner, Justin Gravitt, Terry Hall, and Earl Black.
Due to the Covid- 19 pandemic there will be no public visitation or funeral services. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
