Cecelia Denise Lopez

Ms. Cecelia Denise Lopez, age 36, of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Redmond Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Lopez was born September 10, 1986, in Berwyn IL, daughter of Anthony and Renee Lopez. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Marcella Lopez, and Matthew Smart.

Survivors include her life partner, James Scott, her sons, Isaiah Jackson, and Eli Scott; parents, Renee Smart, and Tony (Joanne) Lopez; grandmother, Denise Smart; brother, Anthony (Rosie) Lopez, sister, Angelita (Chase) Newman; nieces and nephews, Elle Causby, Kelson and Cyrus Newman, Jacqueline and Nash Lopez; special aunt, Theresa Lopez, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins; her best friends, Bionca Curtis, Sara Golden, and Lacreasha Scott.

A celebration of Cecelia's life will be held at a later time.
