Obituary

Catherine Cobb Jenkins, 94, of Calhoun and formerly of Chickamauga, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at The Oaks. Catherine was born near Centre, Alabama on August 5, 1925. She was the daughter of the late James and Etta Mullins Cobb. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Jenkins; her step-son, Jack Jenkins; her siblings and their spouses, Tye and Louise Cobb, Charlie and Pearl Cobb, Vincent and Paulette Cobb, Paul and Nan Cobb, Willie and Bob McDaniel, and Minnie and Claude Hill.
Catherine is survived by her stepson, Franklin Jenkins; her step-daughter, Martha Sue Hall; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 4, 2020, from 2:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral, with Rev. Ralph Parker Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers are Frank Cobb, Ralph Parker Sr., Joey Cobb, Anthony Parker, Nathan Parker, Stanton Duncan. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Duncan, Stewart Duncan, Carson Duncan.
