Carrol Brown Long

Mrs. Carrol Brown Long, 63 of Resaca, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was born in San Diego, California on July 5, 1951, daughter of the late Teddy and Lois Harris Brown.

Mrs. Long was a graduate of San Diego State University, and had retired from retail management.

She leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Lesley Thurman Long; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobby and Debbie Hoag of Calhoun, and Paul Hoag of Livingston, Montana; a daughter and son-in-law, Rani and Chad Bates of Calhoun; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and June Harris; and grandchildren, Cody Hoag, Addie Black, Austin Bates, and Kallen Bates.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Carrol Brown Long will be held Sunday, May 17th, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Chuck Nix and David Long officiating.

The Long family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 3:00 PM.
