Obituary

On February 25, 2022, Carolyn Dutton, 79, of Calhoun, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family.
Carolyn was born on January 26, 1943 to the late Dan Tomlinson and late Nell Hall, both of Calhoun. The eldest of 5 sisters, Carolyn spent most of her high school years helping in the household. Her sisters include Mary Ann, Linda, Edie, and Sue.
Carolyn held many professions during her life but retired from Mohawk after 32 years of dedication. This long tenure is an example of her loyalty and hard work, which she passed on and expected from her family.

She is also survived by a long list of grand and great-grandchildren, whom she said was her biggest accomplishment. She was proud to tell any and everyone that she had over 30 grand and great-grand babies. Carolyns house was always bustling with the steps of littles ones, including her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Kathy and Joe Ellis also survive and are two of Carolyns most special friends.
Carolyn was predeceased by her loving husband, Jerry Dutton, parents, Dan Tomlinson and Nell Hall, her sister, Peggy Cronan, and her infant son, Danny Hall. She is also predeceased by her first husband, George Hall.
Pallbearers serving include her grand-sons, Derick Hunter, Matthew Smith, Daniel Hall, Dylan Thomas, Jake Thomas and Chad Guinn. Honorary Pallbearers include Tommy Reeves, Chris Reeves, Robbie White, Luke White, Joe Ellis, and Brian Weeks.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 27th at World Harvest Church between the hours of 5 and 7pm. Funeral services will be held at World Harvest Church Monday, February 28th at 2pm with interment to follow at Salem Cemetery, Pastor Rusty Haradon officiating.
