Obituary

Mr. Byron Lowell Ross, 73 of Lower Tails Creek Road, Ellijay, died Friday, January 31st at his residence.
Mr. Ross was born in Elwood, Indiana on July 21, 1946, son of the late Lovel Ross and Edith Helen Smith Ross. He was an assembler for Ford Motor Company and moved to Georgia where he was a supervisor at Apache Mills until he retired. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Ross is survived by his wife, Linda Ross; son, Byron Ross Jr; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Edwards and her husband Joe; two sisters, Helen O"Shields and Kimberly Ross; Grandchildren, Chyanne Ross, Staci Ross, Hope Guyton, Cory Ross, Michael Ross, Leighann Edwards and Nicholas Edwards; two great grandchildren, Kyison and Oliver Kohut along with other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12: Noon until 2:00 PM at Loose Funeral Home and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana. Graveside services for Mr. Byron Lowell Ross will be held Thursday, February 6th at 3:00 PM at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, Indiana with Chaplain Jim Crews officiating with military honors accorded by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 4th at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made in Byron's memory to 'Animal Rescue League of Northwest Georgia, 1384 Self Lake Road SE, Fairmount GA 30139'
