Obituary

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Gwynn, age 79 of Calhoun died peacefully on Sunday, June 9th at Floyd Medical Center following several months of illness
Bobbie was born in Gordon County on October 16, 1939, daughter of the late John W. Crump Sr.. and Mary Hannah Bradley Crump. She was a member of Blackwood Baptist Church and a member of the 1958 graduating class of Red Bud School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Stone and four brothers, Emory Crump, Junior Crump, Walter Crump and Howard Crump.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Gwynn to whom she was married for 57 years; two daughters, Kathy Oster and Kelly Bagwell and her husband Jeff; grandchildren, Katie and Homero Santos, Hannah and Robert Parker, Jarred and Kelsey Bagwell, Jaccob Bagwell and honorary grandchild, Jocelyn Tow; great-grandchildren, Blair Parker, Gibson Parker, Delilah Bagwell and Dawson Bagwell; and sisters, Effie Hamilton, Betty Black, and Barbara and Scott Rainwater, sister in law, Lonna Crump and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Gwynn will be held Wednesday, June 12th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor, Paul Whitton and Eddie Brannon officiating. Music will be arranged by Faye Prather and Linda Mashburn. Interment will follow in Fidele Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Denny Phillips, Jarred Bagwell, Jaccob Bagwell, Robert Parker, Christian Parker, Joe Stone and Dwayne Whitfield. Honorary pallbearers include Kevin Crump, Keenen Crump, Barry Tow, Gene and Jeanette Holbrook, Guy Silvers, Brandon Putnam, Tyler Putnam, Jimmy Bowman, Larry Stamey and members of the Heaven Bound Senior Adult Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11th between the hours of 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the funeral home. The family request that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the Fidele Cemetery Fund % Ricky Crook, 3921 Maple Grove Church Road, Resaca, GA 30735-5074.
