Betty Moore Bryant

Betty Ann Moore Bryant, 75, of Calhoun died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 following several months of declining health.

Betty was born in Dover, Florida on June 3, 1939, daughter of the late Carl F. and Callie Ailene Westburry Moore. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Charles Lee Bryant, and by her brother, Jerry Moore. Betty was a cancer survivor.

Survivors are her sons, James Bryant and his companion Margaret Conrad, of Calhoun, Timothy Bryant and his wife Chong, of Erwin, Texas, and Charles Bryant and his wife Sara, of Houston, Texas; her daughters, Tina Benfield and her husband Mike, of Calhoun, and Lynn Moore and her husband Chris, of Plainville; her brother, Bobby Moore of Plant City, Florida; her sisters, Monteen Dunn and Dianne Copeland, both of Plant City; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the West Union Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Brooks officiating, and the eulogy given by David Sanders. Music will be arranged by Mike Benfield. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving include David Sanders, Austin Sanders, Timothy Sullivan, Christopher Lane, Patrick Bryant and Tony Bryant.
