Allen Jerry Wooten, 54, of Calhoun, Georgia died Monday, February 17, 2020 after several years of declining health. He was born on March 30, 1965 in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late Jerry and Marie Wooten. He was proceeded in death by his aunts, Doris Otinger, Nancy Marie Otinger, and Hazel Louise Otinger; grandparents, Jewel Otinger, Oscar Otinger, Pete Lee Wooten, and Elsie Price Wooten; cousins, Adam Bryan Otinger and Lisa Ann Otinger.
He is survived by his life partner of 28 years, Christopher Britt; brothers, Joseph Lee Wooten of Calhoun and Kevin Thomas Wooten of Calhoun; sister, Karen Marie Wooten of Adairsville and Alysia Ratliff of Atlanta; aunt Jeanette Petrey of Adairsville; uncles, Jimmy Otinger of Adairsville, Charles Otinger of Adairsville, and Doug Otinger of Rainsville, AL; special cousin, Lawanna Cowart of Adairsville; Niece, Kayla Cochran of Adairsville; nephew, Billy Wooten of Adairsville; great nephew, Jacob Cochran; his fur babies, Emma, EliJah, Riley, Lucah, Axel, Tiny Mite, and Gracie; other relatives also survive.
To honor his wishes his body was cremated and the family will have a private service at a later date.
