Aline "Ollie" Thurman Flynn

Mrs. Iline "Ollie" Thurman Flynn, 56 of Fairmount, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Gordon Hospital following several years of declining health. She was born in Bartow County on October 16, 1958, daughter of the late James and Zoia Kate Walker Thurman.

She leaves behind her husband of 26 years, Bernard Flynn; her daughters, Lisa Childers and Joanna Gregory; brothers, Max Thurman, Danny Thurman, and Rembert Thurman; sisters, Shelia Childers, Vera Childers, Maxine Parker, and Linda Pulliam; a grandchild, Tiffani Stone; and a great-grandchild, Kyran Stone.

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Aline "Ollie" Thurman Flynn will be held Saturday, August 8th at 11:00 AM from Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Fairmount, with Rev. Ernest Channell and Rev. Ronnie Wells officiating. Music will be arranged by Kayla Childers. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Darryl Golston, Nick Thurman, Mark Thurman, Andy Thurman, Dakota Grant, and Jeff Thurman. Honorary pallbearers are Gabe Thurman, Terry Grant, Hunter Childers, and Tylor Cobb.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday, August 7th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
