Thomas A. Sutton Jr., 66, of Calhoun, died at Redmond Regional Medical Center on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Thomas was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1952. He was the son of the late Thomas and Helen Farmer Sutton Sr. He retired from General Motors. Thomas was a member of Praise Tabernacle.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Sutton; his children, Thomas E. Sutton and his wife, Amy, Johnny Sutton and his wife, Autumn, Joshua Andrew Sutton Sr. and his wife, Lisa, Lalena Sutton Wilkinson and her husband, Gerald, Deela Rhea Sutton, Frances Sutton, Victoria Sutton Schmidt and her husband, Ryan, Alicia Howard and her husband, Randy, Mae Standlee, and Timmy Bonds; his grandchildren, Violet, Thomas, Charlotte, William, Meghan (Alex), Gabrielle, Kyle, Ella, Lyla, Juda, Maya, Jesse, Joseph, James, Abigail, Josh Jr., Alex, Corben, Damaion, Emily, Eve, Savannah, and Grayson; his great-grandson, Elliott; his brother, Lee Sutton; his sister, Suzi Sutton; nephews, Dale, Joe, and Kyle Sutton; niece, Cindy; and close friends, Michael “Hippy” Worth, Brian Farmer, Pastor Kaiser, and Rev. Tim McCulley.
The Sutton family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Bobby Wright will officiate. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday from Tilley Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge.
